Z-World Introduces Ethernet-Enabled Single-Board Computer for Embedded Control
Standard BL2000 features include up to 28 digital I/O (including 5 or 7 dual-purpose A/D inputs), 4 RS-232/485 serial ports, 22 MHz microprocessor, 128K SRAM and 256K Flash (expandable), onboard relay, LEDs, 7 timers, and battery-backed time/date clock. Available in four configurations-two with Ethernet, two without-models feature 9 or 11 channels of A/D, and two models also offer D/A capability.
All models can be programmed and debugged over Ethernet/Internet using appropriate accessory hardware. In addition, systems with built-in 10Base-T Ethernet can be directly controlled and monitored across any network or the Internet and can also open sockets to remote devices, serve web pages, or send e-mail. Non-Ethernet versions allow for cost-effective implementation or parallel development of non-Ethernet systems. The BL2000 is also ideal for use as a network-enabled service processor for larger systems.
The BL2000 is fully supported by Z-World's industry-proven Dynamic C(r) Premier development system. This interactive C-language compiler, editor, and debugger includes TCP/IP stack with source royalty free, providing OEMs with tremendous cost savings. With appropriate accessory hardware, embedded systems can also be programmed and debugged over networks.
A low-cost tool kit includes user manual, demonstration board, working demonstration programs, wire kit, serial cable, DC power supply (U.S. only), and unibox enclosure for panel or wall mounting.
