Wheel and Brake Assemblies

We manufacture sand cast aluminum and magnesium wheel assemblies in our own foundry. Our product line includes 5 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch, and 10 inch wheels to fit the needs of your aircraft. Cleveland wheels and brakes are qualified as matched sets for optimal braking performance.

Also available are external floating calipers and internal disc brakes. With a Cleveland external brake system, not only are you provided superior stopping, but your brakes can be serviced right on the runway. Our external brakes are exposed so they are cooled in the slip-stream while performance remains virtually unaffected by the weather. Our internal brake system allows for smoother stopping. Our discs feature an extra margin of "heat sink". This means they are thicker, stronger and able to withstand more heat. The discs make solid contact for reduced spiking, chattering, and fading.
