Voss Industries, Inc. Acquired by Employees

Cleveland, OH - Voss Industries, Inc., recently announced the enhancement of its current employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) from 30 percent ownership to 75 percent through the purchase of company stock from the heirs of William and Marianne Voss, founders of the 200 employee company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Four key managers acquired the remaining shares.

Marsha Voss, the daughter of William and Marianne, said, "It was always the desire of my parents for the business to be employee owned." Since starting Voss Industries 43 years ago, "Bill and Marianne Voss built a solid company with dedicated employees - they cared about the employees and the products that bore their name," Marsha continued. "We wanted that legacy to continue, and this transfer of ownership ensures that," she added.
