Condor Engineering bus Interfaces
Condor Engineering's Avionics Interface Controllers (AIC) for Condor Engineering buses are intelligent, high-performance solutions that provide a single integrated interface to multiple avionics protocols on a VMEbus or VXIbus platforms. With up to 64 fully independent ARINC 429 channels, these products support maximum data rates on all channels while providing an easy-to-use interface, large buffer storage, on-board message scheduling, error injection/detection, programmable receive level thresholds, label filtering, adjustable transmit output voltages and a wide range of mixed protocol configurations.

An integrated Application Programming Interface (API) is provided for high-level access to all AIC-based protocol functions. Data buffering, filtering and time-tagging of received ARINC 429 messages is software selectable and executed on-board. 5,000 frames of received data on each of the 32 channels can be stored on-board. Supports ARINC 429, 419, 561, 573, 575, 582, 717, CSDB, RS-232, RS-422, RS-423, MIL-STD-1553 and other protocols.
