FP makes a full range of thermocouple types using a wide variety of constructions, including base metal, magnesium oxide (MgO / metal-sheathed), noble metal (platinum-rhodium), tungsten-rhenium and other specialty constructions. We have specific expertise with platinum thermocouple assemblies requiring multiple protection tubes and/or having multiple thermocouples. Special item examples include plastics thermocouples, molten metal thermocouples ('Marshall Tips'), weld pad (also called tube-skin or boiler) thermocouples, multi-point assemblies, 'jumpers'/extensions and many other customer-designed constructions!
