6mm, 8mm, and 7mm with Working Channel for FOD Inspection and Retrieval

Aviation's easiest, most portable visual inspection tool is now the most advanced. With the new VideoProbe XL PRO, Everest VIT, Inc. puts the power of digital technology and the power to inspect literally, in your hands. A high-resolution camera, 50-watt light source, and long exposure mode combine to give you bright, true-color images. Field-proven ShadowProbe measurement technology provides accurate quantified measurements without loss of resolution. Image capture, storage and recall is integrated in the system. And, unlike other portable video borescopes, the XL PRO features a user-friendly handpiece for intuitive and one-handed operation of all major functions. A high-resolution LCD is integrated into the handpiece for easy viewing. A patented joystick provides simple control of the All-Way tip articulation.

The VideoProbe XL PRO features:

Integrated software package/file management
Capture, store, recall and delete images from or between the internal system memory and the integrated 1.44MB disk drive. Images are stored directly to the internal flash memory for fast storage and retrieval. Output the files as .JPGs or .BMPs for personal computer compatibility.

Highest-resolution images
Tightly-aligned pixels (380,000 NTSC format; 420,000 PAL format) deliver clear, true-color images of compressor and turbine blades, engine accessory drive gearboxes, combustion chambers and other hard-to-reach places.

Highest light output for bright images
A 50-watt high-intensity illumination Welch Allyn Solarc lamp delivers the brightest images especially during tough burner can inspections. The lamp provides 1500 lamp hours vs. 300 hours for lamps typically found in video borescopes.

Digital zoom for accurate close-up inspections
Instead of moving the probe closer to a tight inspection area, zoom in for a closer look. The zoom cycles through three levels with each press of the button.

Accurate measurement
The XL PRO is the only video borescope system that provides an accuracy index and maintains full resolution during measurement (the unit has three times the resolution of competitive systems in measurement mode). Skew, depth, and distance measurement is achievable using ShadowProbe measurement technology. Enhanced comparison measurement tools including Circle Gauge (Go/No Go) and Video Caliper let you easily decide if an anomaly is within maintenance manual limits. Re-measure images off-line on a PC with Everest VIT's PC-based remeasurement software.

Split screen for fast, simple image comparison
This tool is ideal for trend analysis. Simply capture and catalog an image of a damaged blade that falls within maintenance manual limits. Keep the engine in service and, during the next scheduled maintenance, capture a second image for side-by-side comparison with the first.

Unrivaled portability and easy set-up
The user-friendly handpiece, single case design (used for both storage and shipping) and instant cableless setup delivers portability like no other. In 20 seconds you're ready to inspect.

Optical and measurement tips
Our selection of high-resolution tips increases the versatility of the PRO by allowing one video borescope to perform the functions of several. Choose from forward view, side view, or measurement tips, and from various fields-of-view and depths-of-field.
