The Aerospace Component Services Group of Pratt & Whitney Canada's Service Center Network Announces New Repairs

Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp.AA 2000, New Orleans, 10 October 2000 -The Aerospace Component Services group of <%=company%>'s (P&WC) Service Center Network proudly announces a new Compressor Turbine shroud segment repair for the PT6A-40 through A-50 engine series. This repair employs a process that produces a true diffusion bonding of material formulated to closely match the characteristics of new parts. The process result is a high quality, low cost alternative to new parts for operators and overhaul shops. For our customers' added convenience, the shrouds are shelf stock and available for immediate shipment with no exchange premium.

An additional repair for the PW305 engine is now available for the High-Pressure Turbine Segments and Third Stage Nozzle. The success of this engine family and its applications continue to grow and the option of high quality component repairs such as these benefits operators and owners by reducing their cost of ownership.
