Avionics Specialties, Inc.arning Transmitter (SWT) is an Angle of attack Probe fitted with an integral Stall Warning Computer. The transmitter can provide Local and True AOA signals for indicators, multifunctional displays or flight control systems and independent drive signals for audio warners, stick shakers and stick pushers triggered at the appropriate part of the flight envelope.

The transmitter can take in signals from flaps, spoilers, speed brakes and other control surfaces and use them to modify stall characteristic curves. Signals to and from the SWT can have discrete, analog or digital formats, and can feed Head Down (HDD) and Head Up (HUD) displays.
