SSAC Announces FAA Approved Production Inspection System For SJ30 Production Line

San Antonio, TX - Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation ("SSAC") announced that the Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA") has granted APIS approval to the company recently during a brief ceremony at the company's headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. APIS, which stands for "Approved Production Inspection System," allows Sino Swearingen to inspect its own products under a system approved by the FAA.
"We have been working towards APIS approval since receiving our type certificate with both of our plants in Martinsburg, WV (manufacturing) and San Antonio, TX (assembly/final completion)" said Bob Homan, Vice-President of Quality Assurance. He added, "I am very proud of the work that everyone at SSAC has performed to develop the processes and procedures for APIS approval. With their efforts, we are well on our way towards obtaining a production certificate (PC) in the near future."
