Altair Avionics Corp.monitoring system is designed for both single- and twin-engine helicopters, combines full JAR OPS-2 compliance with automatic power assurance check routines, reference cycle counting, event logging, and helicopter diagnostics. With up to 20 user-programmable event limits, the system also captures the hover and cruise engine trending. Its ability to recognize and calculate the complex reference cycles mandated by some engine manufacturers also provides maintenance benefits and enhances manual cycle logging. Fully tamperproof, with system status indication provided to the pilot, the system exceeds JAR regulations for usage monitoring systems.
