RFID Journal LIVE! 2009 To Feature Four Co-located Events

New York, NY - RFID Journal LIVE! 2009, the world's premier conference and exhibition focused on radio frequency identification and its many business applications, will host four co-located events on April 27: the AIDC Strategic RFID Workshop, IEEE RFID 2009, the Printed RFID Conference and the RFID in Aerospace Workshop.

RFID Journal LIVE! 2009, the seventh annual event produced by RFID Journal, will be held on April 27-29, 2009, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in Orlando. This year's event will feature eight industry-specific and how-to conference tracks, seven in-depth preconference seminars, fast-track CompTIA RFID+ training and certification, the RFID Journal Awards, and numerous technology exhibits and demonstrations conducted by the leading technology firms. The four co-located events are designed to provide added value to attendees by enabling them to access additional education sessions.

AIDC Strategic RFID Workshop
This uniquely interactive workshop will be offered to augment the more technically focused vertical-market preconference sessions, enabling end users to send a team member to understand the strategic approach to RFID technology adoption. Presented by the AIDC 100 organization of professionals, who have contributed significantly to the growth and advancement of the automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) industry, this workshop will provide insight into how to avoid implementation problems and reduce costs by understanding the lessons learned through the adoption of bar codes and other AIDC technologies that parallel RFID.

IEEE RFID 2009
The 2009 IEEE International Conference on RFID is attracting leading researchers, developers, integrators, and visionaries to discuss and expand their knowledge of technologies, systems, networks, algorithms, and applications of RF-based wireless communications and identification systems. IEEE RFID 2009, the world's largest and most important technical conference, is a must-attend event for those looking to understand the research currently underway that will drive future advances in radio frequency identification.

Printed RFID Conference
This co-located conference, produced by IntertechPira, will bring together leading experts and companies focused on printed electronics for RFID. Its purpose will be to update RFID technology providers, systems integrators, and end users regarding the latest developments in printed electronics for RFID, and to show how printed electronics can be used to create low-cost tags.

RFID in Aerospace Workshop
This workshop will provide a unique opportunity to understand the fundamentals of RFID technology in relation to the aerospace sector. Participants will take away key learnings in the following subject areas: technology basics (including overviews of physics, hardware and software), business and use cases of RFID for aerospace and defense, and important standards and regulations that are key to effective deployments.

"We are extremely excited about being able to work with IEEE, AIDC 100, and IntertechPira and to bring this content to attendees," said Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "RFID Journal LIVE! has become the world's premier RFID event because it offers attendees real value in terms of high-level content, as well as access to the leading technology providers. And these co-located events will enhance that value."
