Radar Test System

PENTAR Avionics0 Radar Test System provides automated testing of the Collins WXR-700 Weather Radar system. The system automates test operations for all of the WXR-700 components and adds capability to support the Forward Looking Windshear (FLW) version of the WRT-701 R/T. The system replaces four manually-operated legacy test panels with the PTS-3100 Radar Resource Panel. Containing the company's Avionics PC resource cards, this single integrated rack-mount panel provides most of the stimulus and measurement resources required to perform return-to-service testing of the WXR-700 system LRUs. The system is comprised of the PTS-3100 Radar Resource Panel, PTS-3000 Test System Controller and an IFR RDX-7708R signal generator. Its 115 VAC/400 Hz and 28 VDC power sources provide input power to the UUT.
