Qualtech chosen to develop testability tool set for the International Space Station

<%=company1%> (QSI) has been selected by Honeywell Space Systems (Phoenix, AZ) for development of a demonstration system which could provide remote, model-based diagnostics for the International Space Station (ISS). For this project, Qualtech will provide its commercially available "TEAMS" (Testability Engineering and Maintenance System) tool set which provides state of the art "failure/effects modeling", diagnostic analysis, and model based run-time diagnostics and intelligent reasoners. Qualtech will also leverage its current NASA research program for "telediagnosis" which provides an architecture for remote monitoring of large scale, complex systems such as the ISS. This new architecture, called TEAMS-RDS (TEAMS-Remote Diagnostic Server) will demonstrate a continuous assessment of ISS system health and isolate any failed or failing component for presentation to NASA Mission Control operators.

The TEAMS-RDS system can also "serve" intelligent troubleshooting and repair procedures to ISS flight controllers to resolve any residual fault isolation ambiguity using support equipment, manual test, and inspections in an efficient, optimized sequence. The TEAMS-RDS system provides a web-based, "server to thin-client" Integrated Diagnostic solution capable of managing and processing multiple concurrent "clients" (or ISS systems).

Qualtech technology that will be demonstrated here has many space and commercial applications, including patient health monitoring, automotive diagnostics, and as a service in emerging e-commerce systems. The Honeywell and Qualtech team combines 14 plus years of ISS experience in large-scale systems integration with state of the art diagnostic modeling/analysis, intelligent/dynamic reasoning and scaleable web based server diagnostic solutions.
