Flight Visions, Inc. Modular Mission Display Processor (MMDP) forms the core of modern retrofit or new aircraft avionics packages. It can drive head-up displays (HUD), helmet mounted displays (HMD) and multi-function displays (MFD) while providing spare power for mission processing and navigation.
The processor can be configured with either one or two 50 MHz 68040 microprocessors with MIL-STD 1553B data busses. Operational Flight Program (OFP) functions include air-to-air gunnery, missile, air-to-ground weapon delivery, primary navigation, HOTAS switching and symbology generation.
