Plexus Plastic Cleaner & Polish

"Clearly the best" plastic cleaner, protectant and polish – Plexus was born in 1993 out of the frustration experienced by a pilot and entrepreneur who was unhappy with the poor performing aviation window cleaners on the market. In 1994, Plexus was launched commercially into the aviation maintenance market with the intended use being to care for aircraft windshields and painted surfaces. Sierrasin, manufacturer of canopies for the F-18, uses and recommends Plexus for aviation applications.

The uses of Plexus have expanded far beyond the initial aviation niche. Plexus is now recognized in the marine industry by way of PowerBoat Reports (October 1997 issue) as being the number one product for the routine maintenance of fiberglass boats and polycarbonate windshields.

In 1997, work began to introduce Plexus to the U.S. military procurement system. A new version was developed called Plexus "M" which is Foreign Object Debris free (FOD-free) and has a higher flash point (155 degree F) to allow usage on aircraft carriers. Rigorous testing of Plexus and Plexus "M" has proven that these products exceed the requirements set forth in Federal Specification PP-560B for Plastic Polish.

Plexus is quite unique having four major performance characteristics. The formulation is comprised of a mild solvent for cleaning, a micro-wax for sealing minor scratches, a silicone to resist fingerprints and an anti-stat agent to resist and repel dust.
