PAMA and Aerolearn.com Form Strategic Partnership
The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) and Aerolearn.com LLC have formed a strategic partnership to deliver PAMA symposium seminars in Aerolearn.com's online learning community. The partnership is known as the PAMA 2000 Online Learning Initiative and makes PAMA seminars available to the aviation industry at anytime and anywhere. Aerolearn.com will deliver PAMA seminars in its online course format, with each "course site" providing the presentation materials and such interactive communication tools as discussion boards, virtual chat rooms, and online whiteboards.
PAMA President Brian Finnegan explained, "This partnership allows us to provide a great service to our symposium speakers, our attendees, our members, and the aviation maintenance community as a whole. Speakers and presentations will receive a much higher level of exposure. Attendees will be able to access the presentation materials online and engage in post-convention discussions. They will also be able to access the seminars that they missed at the convention. In addition, PAMA members and other aviation maintenance professionals who could not travel to attend the PAMA seminars will have the opportunity to access the presentations online at any time and from any place."
Dr. Amir Moghadam, President of Aerolearn.com, added, "PAMA seminars are presented by highly qualified speakers and provide exceptional educational value to PAMA attendees. Online delivery of presentations requires more educational materials from the speakers, thus making PAMA seminars even more effective and valuable for the industry. Aerolearn.com is very pleased to partner with PAMA to make these valuable seminars available to the worldwide aviation maintenance community."
Aerolearn.com's capabilities include several methods for verification of training. As part of this partnership, PAMA and Aerolearn.com will work with the FAA to seek IA approval for some of the online courses. Many of the seminars presented at PAMA 2000 are already online. The courses are listed under the "PAMA Courses" heading on Aerolearn.com's virtual campus.
