NTSB Accident Data on CD-ROM

Sporty's Pilot Shopnvestigator" CD-ROM provides 31,000 records of accidents and incidents of general aviation piston aircraft. The accidents are from 1983 to the present.

With the NTSB Investigator, one can locate, identify, review and group accidents by any criteria, such as aircraft make/model, engines, pilot experience and credentials. A search is also possible by component serial numbers, weather conditions, or any word contained in the accident narrative.

The database combines the information on the incident detail, narrative, sequence of events and probable cause.
