MEGHAS Avionics Certified on EC 135

Sextant has received certification for its MEGHAS-equipped EC 135 helicopter covering single-pilot IFR operation with a three axes autopilot. The configuration comprises two Sextant SMD 45 displays together with a central panel display system. Developed jointly by Sextant and Sfim the MEGHAS suite has already been ceretificated on the Eurocopter EC 120, EC 135, Ecureuil B3 and EC 155.

MEGHAS is based on an integrated family of equipment and handles all main rotorcraft functions – autopilot, guidance and navigation, engine and vehicle control and onboard maintenance.
