Low-Maintenance Battery

SAFT America Inc.battery is a direct replacement battery for King Air aircraft and requires no airframe or electrical modifications. The battery features an extended maintenance interval. Its plastic-bonded negative electrode reduces battery water consumption by reducing the current draw during overcharge. The non-sintered, negative plate weighs less, has better energy density and allows for increased electrolyte reserve. Simultaneously, the battery has an enhanced sintered, positive electrode combined with optimized electrolyte to increase charge efficiency.
