Lean Solutions: Revenue Increases 68% For Cincom Manufacturing Business Solutions

Cincom Manufacturing Business Solutions (CMBS), a division of software company Cincom Systems, announced today a 68 percent increase in 12-month rolling revenue from July 2005 to July 2006 for its North American division.

Cincom a "Hot Company"
This exceptional success caused editors of START-IT, a manufacturing industry trade magazine, to recently name Cincom a 2006 "Hot Company." START-IT editors noted that, "Cincom has built a reputation of being a company that provides smart solutions to manufacturers. That's why it heavily targets manufacturers that make complex products. These companies require a system that is not vanilla that can be used just anywhere, but one that is rich in functionality."

Simplifying Complex Manufacturing Key to Success
"Our focus has always been to help our customers be successful. We achieve this by developing and implementing applications that help them simplify their complex manufacturing processes and accelerate their operational excellence," said Ian Lockwood, director, CMBS business development.

This simplification philosophy has led Cincom to deliver benefits for manufacturing companies as high as:

  • a 95 percent reduction in order completion costs,
  • a 65 percent reduction in order recycle times,
  • a 20 percent to 50 percent reduction in engineering times, and
  • a 30 percent increase in lead-to-sale ratios.

"Until the application has been successfully implemented, the customer cannot start to reap the rewards. Fortunately, we specialize in successful implementations, having a 100 percent success rate," said Lockwood.
