The IPM-629-BP-1 provides a 32MHz double-width Industry Pack (IPack)solution to your ARINC 629 (DATAC)Databus requirements. Built around the ARINC629 DATAC chip from National Semiconductor,the IPM-629-BP-1 offers all of the standard DATAC features and more. Transmitted and received messages can be time-tagged with a precision of one microsecond. The TI,TG and SG gaps are programmable,and the CID is programmable on a per-message basis allowing the emulation of multiple Remote Terminals (RT)in transmission. In addition,the IPM-629-BP-1 features a unique bus-monitor mode in which the DATAC is bypassed and all ARINC629 bus traffic is recorded for later analysis.

The functionality of the IPM-629-BP-1 is further enhanced by the power of MAX Technologies' line of intelligent multi-platform (VME,PCI,CPCI,VXI)carrier boards. All carrier boards feature 32-bit microsecond-resolution scheduling of transmitted messages and time-tagging of received messages. In addition,the carrier boards contain a fast RISC processor running at 200MHz and 16-32Mb of shared memory for queuing transmit and receive messages.

Furthermore,multiple carrier boards can be time-synchronized resulting in unmatched precision in critical real-time applications.
