ILS Smart Tools And ILS Toolbar Offer Aerospace And Defense Industries The Latest In Web Technology

Memphis, TN - Inventory Locator Service, LLC (ILS) recently announced the release of ILS Smart Tools. ILS Smart Tools is a web-based application that uses the latest innovations in RSS "push" technology to notify clients from their system tray that information of specific interest to them is available on ILSmart.com.

Without having to visit ILSmart.com, subscribers can receive real-time notifications when a Request for Quote has been sent to them. They can also be notified when an AOG (Aircraft On Ground), Wanted, or For Sale opportunity of interest to them has been broadcast on ILSmart.com. In addition, subscribers can access their ILSmart.com homepage, search the ILS marketplace, or use Industry Eyes, ILS' proprietary search engine, to find aviation-specific results on web.

In conjunction with the release of Smart Tools, ILS is also launching ILS Toolbar. ILS Toolbar allows subscribers to perform a search directly from their web browser by entering a part number or keyword. Parts available within the ILS Marketplace are displayed in the results. Subscribers can also search the web for aviation related data using Industry Eyes.

Both ILS Smart Tools and ILS Toolbar are a part of ILS' ongoing expansion into second-generation of web services (Web 2.0) that take advantage of ILS' 1- ClickSM search technology. This technology provides ILS subscribers with an array of related information from multiple sources with a single search. Data sources include parts availability and MRO sourcing information, directories, procurement history files, FAA regulatory data, and supply and demand information, to name a few.

"The release of ILS Smart Tools and ILS Toolbar further demonstrates our commitment to providing the latest advances in web technology to our clients," said President of ILS, Bruce Langsen. "These tools enable our clients to focus on their core competencies, increase efficiency, and in turn, improve their bottom line."
