Hydro-Aireompany%>, a Crane Co. company , has just successfully completed its three year ISO9001 recertification audit of its Burbank, CA manufacturing facility. The audit was held from January 8 through 12, 2001, and was conducted by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), Hydro-Aire's third party registrar.

The LRQA representatives, Mike Harder and George Tice, were particularly complimentary of Hydro-Aire's overall organization. ISO9001 Certifications are issued for three years, with six month follow-up visits to ensure that the quality system is operating properly. Hydro-Aire's initial certification was obtained in November 1997, and we have received excellent results in every following audit.

This particular audit involved a detailed review of the entire Quality System, including the Software Development process in accordance with the Tickit scheme of ISO9001, resulting in a recommendation that Hydro-Aire be re-certified for an additional three years. Greg Ward, the President of Hydro-Aire, stated: "We are pleased to report that our Quality System continues to be rated as world-class. Our employees have made this possible, and due to them, Hydro-Aire provides high quality products which our customers can depend on."
