Honeywell Solid State Electronics Center

Source: Honeywell Solid State Electronics Center
In the early 1980s, Honeywell Solid State Electronics Center created a Silicon-On Insulator fabrication process to develop high performance integrated circuits. Due to our proven capabilities and customer commitment, we have gained recognition as a world leader in IC manufacturing. Today, we are expanding our expertise and reliability in SOI technology to optimize solutions for the RF/microwave and fiber optic industry.

At our Plymouth, Minnesota-based SOI wafer foundry, we are developing products and offering designers a foundry venue using our high-performance 0.35, 0.5 and 0.8 micron SOIµWave CMOS process. A process, that when compared to bulk or GaAs, provides higher isolation between multi-channel devices and higher integration, all on a single chip.

If your applications require high speed, low power ICs, we are taking orders for our product family of attenuators, transceivers and receivers currently under development and ready for your design by May 2001.

In addition to products, we also offer customized SOI RF/Microwave foundry and design services. The Honeywell My SOI Services package includes tailored services above standard design support, testing and packaging options. We unbundle our multi-level services to meet your time, quality and budget needs.
