Earmark Inc.eadset provides 23 dB NRR. Thick walls protect the headset cups from structural damage in the abusive environment of industrial processing. An armored, flexible boom shields the microphone cable for the noise canceling electret microphone. Powered by a single, disposable nine-V alkaline battery or by a single, rechargeable 8.4-V NiMH cell, the headset transmits 100 mW of radio power reaching up to 0.5 mile in open field conditions.
