The MIZ-21A eddy current tester from Zetec (Issaquah, WA) provides a range of eddy current inspection capabilities and signal analysis/optimization functions from go/no-go comparisons to in-depth investigation of small variations
N/A eddy current tester from Zetec (Issaquah, WA) provides a range of eddy current inspection capabilities and signal analysis/optimization functions from go/no-go comparisons to in-depth investigation of small variations. Features include 50 Hz to 4 MHz variable frequency, storage of up to 5 screen images and 50 test setups, and a bright back-lit LCD that tolerates a range of operating temperatures.

N/A offers three selectable operating frequencies (60, 120, and 240 kHz) for digital conductivity and coating thickness measurements (an optional conductivity probe is required). Data displays in %IACS or MS/m for digital conductivity and in thousands of an inch (mils) or millimeters for nonconductive coating thickness measurement. N/A offers a selectable probe drive voltage with a saturation indicator (SAT) that warns you when probe drive voltage to the coil is too high. N/A can be used with Zetec's full line of handheld probes and rotating scanners, or with other manufacturers' probes using adapters.

To aid in signal analysis, N/A offers two types of filters, differential and bandpass. These filters suppress unwanted signals when they occur at a different frequency than the signal of interest.
