Rapid Imaging Software, Inc. a flight visualization tool that allows the user to "fly" through digital terrain in 3D in 6 degrees of motion. The software also produces VRML fly-throughs for the web.
Features include overlay topography with maps, satellite, and aerial imagery permitting the user to simulate a sensor image, like that from a TV camera or a FLIR. The user can also watch flight-tests live, over a network, in real-time 3D, including terrain, obstructions and other aircraft.
The software requires no special hardware other than a Windows-based computer and features a standard windows graphical user interface.
