Flight Tracking Services

Skysource.comrsions of SkySource WebASD and WebAirport flight tracking services display real-time aircraft, airport and weather information using an Internet connection. NavData, included with WebASD, provides the ability to display U.S. routes, fixes and navaids. Departure Time in Data Block calculates the departure time of the flight as it appears in the flight data block. Improved Flight Plan Matching adjusts the flight-to-flight plan matching rules to increase matching performance. The service also provides real-time aircraft positions, flight plans and flight tracks based on the FAA Aircraft Situation Display to industry data overlaid with Nexrad weather radar.

The WebAirport enhancements include Logout, which allows active logout so that users can deactivate their sessions without exciting the SkySource Web pages. The Floating Airport List has a floating window that can be moved to provide greater screen access. The system provides quick access to weather conditions, forecasts, Digital-ATIS and terminal weather information for pilots through the United States.
