Lufthansa Technik AG, Mktg. & Saleslat panel speaker works by controlled actuation of a flat panel of metal, glass or plastic. A minimum of two drivers moves the panel. Unlike conventional speakers containing a piston diaphragm movement, here the speaker diaphragm vibrates randomly across its surface. The new drive system can be integrated into walls, pictures or displays, leaving the cabin designer with the maximum imaginable freedom. All loud-speakers are individually designed and built to the customer's specifications.
