FAA awards Level 'D' certification to FlightSafety's third Citation X simulator

FlightSafety International's Columbus Center has received the FAA's Level "D" certification for its Citation X full flight simulator. This third Citation X certification adds further depth to the FlightSafety Cessna training network which covers the full line of Citation aircraft.

The new full motion simulator in Columbus, OH, was designed and built by FlightSafety Simulation. The organization's manufacturing facilities are in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The visual system was built by the FlightSafety Visual Systems Division in St. Louis, MO.

Other Citation X simulators are at the FlightSafety Citation Centers in Wichita, KS, and Toledo, OH.

Headquartered at New York's LaGuardia Airport, FlightSafety is the nation's senior aviation training organization. Founded in 1951, the company now trains over 65,000 pilots and aviation personnel each year, including pilots of more than 35 Head-of-State flight operations from around the world.
