Universal Avionics Systems Corp., Arizona Div.al Cockpit Display (UCD) is designed to provide pilots with a range of information via a slimline touch screen display.

The 10-in. screen provides pilots to Jeppesen terminal area charts. Departure and arrival information from the UNS flight management system (FMS) automatically prompts the display of the associated charts in sequence with their required use. IN addition, a geo-referencing feature displays the aircraft's position on the charts using information from the FMS.

The 768 × 1024-pixel high-resolution terminal also accommodates video inputs and supports display of two simultaneous views from the manufacturer's TAWS system and other external video sources. The device can also be used to display aircraft-specific procedural checklists, which can be downloaded or pilot defined. Colors indicate the checked status of each item.

The display features a 100 Mbit/sec. Ethernet interface for fast data loading and increased communications capabilities.
