Ciao Wireless Upgrades For AS9100/ISO9001:2000 Certification

Camarillo, CA -- Ciao Wireless, Inc. announced that it has contracted to upgrade all Quality Management Systems to compliance with AS9100, a standard for the Aerospace Industry which includes ISO9001:2000. Our timeline for implementation calls for registrar certification before the end of 2005. The current Quality Management System at Ciao Wireless is compliant to MIL-I and MIL-Q specifications and standards.

AS9100 defines additional areas within an aerospace quality management system that must be addressed when implementing an ISO9001:2000-based quality system. The industry experts who wrote the standard and the representatives who approved it all agree that these additions are essential to product, process and service safety and quality.
