The Bachelor of Science degree program in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
Technology is unique in that it combines aircraft maintenance and applied
engineering studies. Sixty quarter units of credit will transfer from an
FAA-approved Airframe and Powerplant certificate program into the degree
program.
This program covers more courses in engineering in addition to our A. A. S. program such as: Applied Thermodynamic, Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Aerodynamics, Flight Mechanics, Wind Tunnel Testing, Engineering Economy, and more Mathematics. The graduates of the B. S. degree program will work as entry level engineering technologists and can be involved in the design, development, testing, certification, operation, maintenance, overhaul, and modification of aircraft.
