Brice started as a component manufacturer for OEM seat companies in the 1960's and has evolved into one of the world leaders in commercial aircraft seat manufacturing, seat components, and seat modification and refurbishment services.

In the 1970's, Brice earned a reputation for quality and service as a seat component manufacturer, selling PMA parts directly to the airlines. By developing an extensive product mix, Brice soon became recognized by airlines around the world as a single source for spare parts such as food trays, armcaps, plastic shrouds, cushions and covers. In the 1980's, we obtained FAA licenses for seat repair and seat modification, rapidly becoming a leader in the growing areas of seat modification, refurbishment and in-seat telephone and video integration. This further established our position in the industry as a provider of solution-oriented products and services. After years of significant physical and financial growth, Brice was acquired in 1994 by Ducommun Inc., a leading aerospace corporation which also happens to be the oldest company in California. Ducommun is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "DCO". With these resources, Brice developed the most innovative and comfortable commercial aircraft seats in the air, the Brice B1000 series.
