Machida, Inc., Vision Sciences, Inc.escopes offer a flexible, fiberoptic design and contain image bundles comprised of up to 30,000 pixels. The Barrel Type borescopes are 2mm to 4mm in diameter, feature tip angulation in two directions, and the combination of a detachable eyepiece, light guide and one of nine small diameter interchangeable probes.
The Lever Type borescope is designed for 4mm to 6mm insertion tubes, with angulation in two directions. The Knob Type borescope is used primarily with 8mm and 11mm insertion tubes, has four-way angulation, and is suited for lengths to 20 feet.
