Bearing Analyzer

N/AA-96-1 bearing analyzer is a quantitative instrument that evaluates the working surfaces of anti-friction bearings by measuring mechanical vibration, or bearing noise. During use, a bearing in test generates a noise signal, which is then compared to previously established acceptance criteria. This comparison is used to evaluate the condition of the bearing, its working surfaces and degree of wear to determine whether or not it can be used or overhauled. The unit can measure a wide range of bearing sizes, from small instrument bearings to those found in large jet engines.
