AeroInfo Systems Inc., a subsidiary of The Boeing Company maintenance software system consists of an interconnectable set of software components. Each of the eight components is designed to function stand-alone, and is built to the ATA 2100 standard. Most components are written in Java and use a three-tiered architecture to allow for future growth and integration with internal/external systems of record. The system is powered by high-performance, highly reliable Oracle and Sybase relational databases on a variety of UNIX and NT platforms.
