Auxilec/Sextant Customer Service Group Renamed Thomson-CSF Avionics
European-based Thomson-CSF Sextant announced that its new U.S.-based customer service organization will adopt the name Thomson-CSF Avionics, Inc. The new organization combines the U.S. customer support operations of Auxilec, Inc. (Edison, NJ) and Thomson-CSF Sextant, Inc. (Miami, FL). The integration of these companies was begun last year and is expected to be complete in the second quarter of this year, the company said.
Thomson-CSF Avionics will have two locations:
- Its Edison, NJ, facility will serve as headquarters and will host the repair and support operations for both Auxilec's aircraft electrical power products and Sextant's Avionics products.
- A Seattle, WA, site (formerly AirLab) will continue to service instruments for current customers.
Franck Hebert, president and CEO, leads the new US-based Thomson-CSF Avionics organization as president and CEO.
