The 2001RP, a programmable AC power source, delivers 2000 VA of AC power at frequencies ranging from 16-5,000 Hz. Voltage can be adjusted from 0 to 300 VRMS and a programmable current limit protects the unit under test against over-current damage. The power source uses a high frequency PWM power amplifier to generate a low distortion, low-noise output signal up to 5,000 Hz. It is suited for demanding avionics and defense applications that require 400 Hz output and above.
For commercial test and development applications, the power source delivers high peak current capability to drive non-linear loads and has the ability to drive zero-to-unity power factor loads with no derating. Settings are displayed on large LCD readouts and can be changed from the front panel using digitally encoded rotary knobs. Frequently used setups can be saved in non-volatile memory. Many options are available to meet different applications.
