Owners, operators and maintenance providers of the Robinson R22 can now access maintenance libraries through convenient CD-ROM technology. Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) will introduce the CD-ROM version of its popular technical library for the Robinson R22 rotorcraft at HAI Heli-Expo 2000.

The new Robinson Maintenance Library includes Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Service Bulletins and Letters, and Airworthiness Directives. Each library also contains the Textron Lycoming engine publications.

"Customer requests for the R22 Maintenance Library on CD-ROM have been outstanding," said Pat DeCambra, ATP's Vice President of Market Development. "This tells us that the ability to access airframe and engine manufacturer information in one source is a great benefit to our rotorcraft subscribers."

"In fact, we're so excited about subscriber support that we plan to release more rotorcraft maintenance libraries on CD-ROM in the future," DeCambra continued.

The Robinson libraries employ a version of ATP's popular Navigator interface, powerful research software known for its speed and ease of use. They share a common front end with ATP's Regulatory Libraries, so a subscriber to ATP's other CD libraries will find them easy to use.

The new library will include the following navigation capabilities:

  • View Tables of Contents alongside the page displayed.
  • View two, three or more publications at the same time.
  • Print by page, Chapter-Section-Subject, Chapter-Section or entire Chapter.
  • Zoom in or out to view a page image.
For more than 26 years, ATP has been the aviation industry's single source for maintenance and regulatory information libraries for propeller, jet and helicopter aircraft, avionics, components and powerplants. The company maintains over 16,000 microfiche and CD-ROM library subscriptions for more than 9,000 subscribers worldwide, including civil aviation authorities, maintenance facilities, Fixed Base Operators, aircraft operators, flight schools, and universities.
