SAE International Aerospace Systems & Technology Conference Provides Competitive Edge Through Leading Industry Speakers

The SAE 2016 Aerospace Systems & Technology Conference (ASTC) will provide an open technical forum for aerospace systems professionals of notable and respected speakers to present on a number of topics at the forefront of industry conversation.

Warrendale, PA (PRWEB) - The SAE 2016 Aerospace Systems & Technology Conference (ASTC) will provide an open technical forum for aerospace systems professionals of notable and respected speakers to present on a number of topics at the forefront of industry conversation. The 2016 program will be comprised of Technical Sessions, Technical Expert Panels, Workshops, Keynotes and Plenaries, focusing on the practical application and implementation of technology, and technology in development in commercial, military and general aviation, when the conference takes place September 27-30, 2016 at Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT.

The solutions-oriented Technical Sessions provide the perfect opportunity for engineering professionals to discover, collaborate, and engage with peers from around the globe. These Technical Sessions, developed by industry professionals from Boeing, Airbus, GE, NASA, U.S. Air Force, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney/UTAS, Rolls-Royce, Sikorsky, and many others, are designed to allow industry members of all levels the opportunity to gather timely, relevant, and stimulating information to enhance skills and creativity.

As an extension of the Technical Program at ASTC, Technical Expert Panel Discussions bring industry experts together to discuss critical issues regarding the integration and application of technologies relevant to the solving emerging issues in the engineering and maintenance communities. The goal of the Panels is to enhance the technical understanding of items critical to those participating in the audience via problem solving discussions and exchange of ideas. Each attendee is encouraged to pose questions, share experiences and explore practical solutions. Topics for the panel discussions include Innovations in Integrated Propulsion Systems & Aircraft Systems, Innovations in Intelligent Aircraft Systems, and Innovations in Aircraft Systems Integration.

In addition, the triennial joint AIAA-AHS-SAE-RAeS International Powered Lift Conference (IPLC) will be held in Hartford with ASTC. All ASTC attendees will receive entrance to this event with their ASTC registration. The IPLC 2016 will focus on three primary thrusts: advanced rotorcraft, jet lift concepts and technologies, and recent progress in electric propulsion applications to V/STOL.
