Spectrum Aeromed, Inc.m 500-LP modular air ambulance system is the first modular system selected for use by a U.S. Air Force unit. Spectrum Aeromed, Inc.m 500-LP underwent expensive testing for EMI at Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center (AFMC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, under the supervision of the staff of Armstrong Laboratories, Brooks AFB, Texas. Spectrum Aeromed, Inc.m 500-LP passed all required Air Force EMI tests and was certified for operation during all phases of flight aboard Air Force aircraft.

In related tests, including vibration testing, environmental testing and user evaluation conducted by Armstrong Laboratories at Brooks AFB, Texas. Spectrum Aeromed, Inc.m 500-LP was approved for all phases of flight aboard Air Force aeromedical evacuation aircraft.
