These microprocessor based control display units enable the operator to command and monitor any given asset through a full function keyboard and a bright, eight-color liquid crystal status display screen. The design of the CDU make custom features easy to implement.

Even with its special qualities, the Interface CDU is designed to utilize COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) microcontrollers, displays and other components that have been ruggedized to operate in extreme environments while providing high reliability. Other features include easy interface through 1 PC compatible COM port (RS232 or RS422), a bi-directional parallel port, and an upgradeable 2 MB disk on chip. The CDU also offers two open card slots for customer specific circuits or interface installed, extra feature enhancements to meet your specifications.
