Corry Micronics Offers Custom Ceramic Antenna Designs
"The company has been manufacturing industry-standard ceramic antennas for over 3 years," stated Don Pavlek, President and CEO of Corry Micronics. "We were often approached by customers with antenna design issues requiring difficult solutions, such as pseudo ground planes, dual and triple antenna loading, overall antenna gain issues and the need for increased bandwidth. As a result, we developed an antenna design and manufacturing center to meet these needs."
Corry Micronics guides customers through the initial antenna concept and development process, and completes the cycle with production services, including computer simulations, small quantity prototyping, field antenna testing, and mass production. The company will assemble, package, and test the antenna systems prior to shipment. Prototyping and low-to-medium-volume assembly projects are completed in the company's U.S. facility, while high-volume assembly projects are completed in its Bangalore, India facility through sister company Abante Services.
"Offering complete design and manufacturing services removes many of the obstacles facing wireless companies today," commented Jim Price, Vice-President of Engineering. Price went on to say that this frees the customers' engineering staff to focus on what matters most, their core technology.
