The company produces VOC-compliant coatings that exhibit both color brilliance and distinctness of image. The coatings retain their color for five to seven years. Contributing to this life expectancy is the fluid resistance and good retained flexibility of the coatings. Exteriors protected by Eclipse system colors are also easy to clean. Good flowout and wet-edge properties are provided within varied temperature, humidity conditions and recoat times. Dry-to-tape times can be as much as nine or ten hours, or as little as six to eight hours, with two to three hour hours for touchups and four hours for decoration colors. The coatings have a lower film density for weight reduction advantages and exceed OEM requirements for resistance to UV degradation in acidic atmospheric conditions.
