NASA Awards WSI Agency-Wide Protective Services Contract

Palm Beach Gardens, FL /PRNewswire/ -- WSI is pleased to announce that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has selected WSI for the award of the NASA Protective Services Contract (NPSC), an agency-wide consolidated contract for protective services.

WSI currently provides security services and fire protection and emergency response services at the Kennedy Space Center, Titusville, Florida, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California, Johnson Space Center , Houston, Texas, White Sands Test Facility, Las Cruces, New Mexico, and NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, California.

This new contract is a single agency-wide contract to perform fire services, security services, emergency management, export control, protective services training and protective services information assurance and information technology security. This contract will assure standardization of procedures across the fourteen NASA locations, provide an integrated response to security threats as well as natural emergencies and provide for greater overall program efficiencies.

WSI is joined by the following sub-contractors to perform this contract: Chenega Security and Protective Services, Virginia; Professional Solutions, Virginia; SecureState, Ohio; SAIC, Virginia; NetGain, Tennessee; Explosive Countermeasures International, Virginia; Chameleon Associates, California; Decision Engineering, Virginia; EASI, Texas; NEI, Texas; and Rede Inc., Louisiana.

The initial total value for a possible 10-year period totals approximately $1.2 billion.
