MEI Technologies, Inc.'s CEO Presented With Lifetime Achievement Award In Aerospace

HTC

Houston, TX - MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT) announced recently that the Houston Technology Center (HTC) honored MEIT CEO Ed Muñiz with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Aerospace at the 2011 gala of "A Celebration of Entrepreneurs."

Muñiz's story was described starting from when he was a boy, working as an agricultural field hand. Instead of continuing to look downward, he looked upward – into the stars where he found a vision and passion that drove him to earn a graduate engineering degree and serve his country as a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Air Force. Fast-forward to today, and you have a successful entrepreneur – owner and operator of an award-winning advanced technology company, serving government and commercial sectors.

"As an entrepreneur, I share this Lifetime Achievement Award in Aerospace with many employees, institutions and family members," said CEO Ed Muñiz. "Thank you, HTC, for this recognition and for your on-going support advancing the development of emerging technology companies."

HTC, a business accelerator and the largest technology business incubator in Texas, honored five recipients – each representing one of the following industry sectors: nanotechnology, energy, life sciences, information technology and aerospace.
