Datasheet: Flasks Freeze Drying Glassware

Source: SP Scientific
VirTis keeps coming up with ways to simplify research freeze-drying. Our extra-wide-mouth filter seal flasks are a case in point. Designed to accept many bulky specimens that once had to be chamber processed, they are especially useful in efficient high volume shell freezing.

In the case of implosion or breakage, coated glassware will contain the glass, protecting the user from possible injury. The translucent nylon safety coating also protects the outer glass surface from scratching, chipping and impacts, for long flask life. The available coated flasks feature the same snap-on silicone tops as our uncoated glassware for a leakproof seal, and are compatible with all major brands of laboratory freeze-drying equipment.
